How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

Therefore, your Goals have to be strong enough to withstand the pull – or the push, of the fatalistic: “Winds of Chance’ so that you can ‘stand your ground’. To answer the question YES, I say “No” all the time. The most important thing any person can do is to be true to yourself so that you can own” at least One Person: Yourself. You can’t “own” another person, it should a free association based on Strengths not Underminings, or Empowering Weaknesses. Although your Goals, or Loved Ones, may change, saying [Yes] to letting go of your Goals is never a good as even “Opportunities” – if viewed objectively, may also be an “illusion” to ‘take away your thunder’. Being ‘tunnel visioned’, or narrow minded, is not good either as you want to be open minded to all Opportunities or Possibilities; therefore, if you say “No” to the same things consistently while pursuing your Goals, then view your unachieved Goals as obstructives, you can either change your Goals, or include more of the ‘Divertings’ as Options, or Additions, rather than be continually upset that the Goal is more of an Anchor than a Destination. As someone whose Goal is to be Autonomous, Singular, Self Reliant, Happy, Healthy & Successful I have gotton old pursuing my Quest; yet, pursuing my “Goals” has always made me Autonomous, Singular, Self Reliant (as “I am the party concerned”), Happy, Healthy, & Successful at using “Goals” to achieve said Singularities, but has provided no Wealth that compromises my future as I get older. When you can Trust your Government when you get old to not give you away as an “Interim Body Part”, or a Research “Subject”, the whirlwind romance at a Nursing Home for a One Year Stay at New York prices that overprices your Meds, Savings, Insurance , & Grants to employ incompetence for their menial “Infirmary Society” taxes, is the “Spur!”, or Wake-Up-Call, to remind you that relaxing your Goals ‘is, again, not an option’. Its Always “American” Not To Give Up. Personally, I say “No” every chance I get. ©Juliette Jenner NYC 10185-1718 & 10023
